39 year old Singer from Minsk, Belarus Alexander Rybak is a Belarusian-Norwegian singer, violinist, composer, musician and actor.
He developed a musical talent from an early age — his mother was a pianist and his father was a violinist.
At the age of 5, he began playing the piano, and then chose the violin as his main instrument; he later studied music in Oslo.

His breakthrough came in 2009, when he represented Norway at the Eurovision Song Contest and won with his own song and composition Fairytale, collecting a then-record 387 points. This brought him worldwide fame.

After the victory, his debut album Fairytales was released in 2009.
Alexander is not limited to pop — his style combines classical music training, violin, piano, and sometimes participation in film sound design.
He continues to be an active artist — releasing music, participating in events, concerts, and periodically returning to the competition scene.
