About me:
29 year old Singer from Lörrach, Albania
Butrint Imeri is a Kosovo-Albanian singer, songwriter, and dancer, born in Lörrach, Germany, on July 3, 1996. He comes from a family originating in Kçiq, a village in the Mitrovica region of Kosovo. From a young age, Butrint showed artistic inclinations: he began dancing at around eight years old and later studied both music and choreography in Germany.
He officially entered the music scene in 2015, gaining recognition in the Albanian-speaking Balkans with early singles such as “Ki me lyp”, “Merre zemrën tem”, and “Eja Eja”. These songs helped him establish a name in the region, building momentum for further success.
Following these early releases, Butrint continued to drop a number of singles, including “E jona” and “Delicious”, the latter being a collaboration with Greek singer Eleni Foureira; this track achieved a top-five position in Albania.
Between 2019 and 2020, Butrint solidified his standing with more hits: in 2019, “Sa gjynah” with Majk reached number one in Albania. Additional charting singles included “Hajt Hajt”, “M’ke rrejt”, and “Dream Girl” (with German rapper Nimo), which also found success outside Albania, especially in Austria, Germany, and Switzerland.
He has kept up the pace to recent years with songs like “Për një Dashuri”, “Si përpara”, “Dy zemra” alongside Nora Istrefi, and “Phantom”, the latter also reaching #1 in Albania. More recent releases include “Lule e dashnisë”, “Diskoteka”, “Moj dashni”, and the collaboration “Lonely” with Era Istrefi, which charted in both Albania and Switzerland.
His style blends pop, R&B, and reggaeton influences, characterized by romantic themes, catchy rhythms, smooth vocals, and an energetic performance presence. Butrint’s ability to merge dance and music—facilitated by his early training—helps him stand out in the Albanian music industry.
He remains an active figure in the regional music scene, frequently collaborating with other popular Albanian and Kosovar artists, maintaining chart presence, and leveraging digital platforms and social media to reach audiences. His work reflects contemporary trends in Balkan pop music, while also drawing on personal experiences in romance and longing that resonate with listeners.
