About me:

39 year old Singer from Vogošća, Bosna and Herzegovina
Jasmin Fazlić, known professionally as Jala Brat, is a Bosnian rapper, songwriter, record producer, and entrepreneur born on October 16, 1986, in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. From early youth he showed interest in music, recording demo tracks in an improvised home studio and later forming the underground hip-hop group BluntBylon. Over time, his musical style evolved to blend elements of hip-hop, trap, turbo-folk, mumble trap, and electronic dance, creating a hybrid sound characterized by lyrical storytelling, strong collaborations, and regional popularity.

Jala Brat’s career took off particularly through his partnership with fellow artist Buba Corelli; together they co-founded the record label and studio Imperia, which has been the base for many of his productions. His discography includes several collaborative albums with Buba Corelli, notably Pakt s Đavolom, Stari Radio, Kruna, Alfa & Omega, GoodFellas, Goat Season: Final Chapter, and Roze Suze. Solo projects and EPs like Replay and Sin City also contributed to building his prominence. His lyrics often focus on nightlife, relationships, status, personal struggle, luxury, and emotional vulnerability, mixing street realism with contemporary club culture.

He represented Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Eurovision Song Contest 2016, performing the song “Ljubav je” alongside Dalal Midhat-Talakić, Deen, and Ana Rucner. While the song did not make the final, the collaboration increased his exposure. Beyond music, Jala Brat has engaged in entrepreneurial work, establishing Red Eye Vision studio in Vogošća, which has been central to producing music for himself and others. His work has influence across the Balkans, collaborating with artists across Bosnia, Serbia, Croatia, and more, regularly topping streaming and trending charts in the region.

His public image is marked by bold visuals, frequent fashion statements, and bold lifestyle choices, alongside themes of identity, family, and sometimes controversy. Jala Brat speaks openly about his heritage and upbringing, including his mixed family background, and invests in maintaining a strong connection with fans through social media and live performances. As of 2025, he continues to release music, tour, and expand his influence, reinforcing his place as one of the leading rap and urban music figures in Southeast Europe.
